Technical Sales Manager

Position: Technical Sales Manager

Location of the office: Aktau, Mangghystau.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensuring, through regular contact, visits and being connected to end-users/authorities, engineering companies and where necessary with contractors, to be aware of all current and future projects and the updated status of these.
  • Through giving regular training seminars, update the technical knowledge and promote AM Steel Foundation Solutions with the End-users, the Engineering Companies and Contractors (where necessary).
  • Through regular contact, be involved and ensure the AM Steel Foundation Solutions are the preferred option for all stake holders.
  • Through regular contact, be involved in projects throughout the geographical area, at an early stage to ensure AM FS are implemented.
  • Create a network, with all stakeholders, to ensure that you are kept aware of all involvements regarding projects.
  • Ensuring to be updated regularly with the latest technical developments regarding Foundation Solutions from Luxembourg, Netherlands etc. Maintain close relations with the design engineers in Luxembourg and Netherlands and call on them to enhance the service to the end-users/authorities, engineering companies etc.
  • Implement the latest technical developments in the regular training seminars to update all engineering companies and end-users/authorities.
  • Providing detailed market analysis, monitoring competition and following-up on new market tendencies.
  • Generating commercial offers/budgets where necessary, negotiating an closing sales by agreeing conditions and terms with customers and suppliers.
  • Generating directs sales to end-users/authorities by unique selling.
  • Negotiating construction tenders an contract terms to meet both customers and company’s needs.
  • Offering after sales support and handling techno-commercial claims (if necessary with back team).
  • Achieving yearly sales objectives an KPIs as set by management.


Required education and skills:

  • Minimum Applicant Attribute   
  • Education / Qualification:  Bachelor – Engineering  
  • Subject:  Civil Engineering  
  • Language:  Proficiency Level:   
  • English Advanced  
  • Russian Intermediate  

Other Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in direct contact with all related stakeholders in preferably the construction industry, ie contractors, end clients and consulting engineers, in the defined geographical area.
  • Commercial and contractual expertise.
  • Must have proven the ability to be self reliant and partly auto deductive to create, maintain and extend a business line.
